An Oklahoma StoryRichard Bayer woke that morning with a clear head. It was the first morning in his entire young life that he had not risen from his pillow with the weight of the world upon his shoulders. It was also the first day of his entire young life that he awoke with the knowledge that he was going to die.

He found himself in the dim bathroom of his apartment staring at his silhouette in the mirror. He seemed almost a shell; even now while still alive he felt the cold of death coming into being. The dream that started it all flickered into his mind, and he felt himself move backward in time to the very beginning.

Before him stood a massive and easi
Ask and you shall receiveHand out the bane
and give it a name.
Call it justification,
the pride of our nation.

Then we can look to the skies
for another alibi.
And the leaders shall cry
"Glory to God, He is on our side!"

Demoralized,
unsanctified.
Sleeping among flies.
Feasting upon lies.

And we will weap
as our own sky tears
to bring us the gifts
we thought they would keep.
No HolesPlease
bring back the feeling
in my palms [no holes]
and my eyes.

Something festered
within their
corridors
and turned me inward

too blank to sigh.

She jumps and--OH CRAP.

I have no idea the story behind this picture. Is she an elf...pirate...zombie...? Uh...YOU DECIDE!? .__.;;

It was mainly done in OpenCanvas 1.1 (with some additions in Photoshop CS4), which doesn't let you save things at the proper size. So it's not as big as I'd want. But it was fun to do, so whatever.
